Question on 401

Where should the compression be on this thing when testing? I'm getting a variety, like 175 on four, two with 210 and two with 130. I found my timing chain to have about 1-1/2" deflection in it though.

74 specs call for 140lb on a good motor with max variation 15% between cyls.
