I found this add in one of my magazines, and noticed they say there available in up to 38.5 and 40 inch sizes. Why arent they on the market anymore bugger than 35 inch?

Probably cost too much and couldn't overcome owner loyalty towards Krawlers, Irocs, and Swampers in those sizes.

4wheelparts.com shows you can still get the FC-II up to a 37. The other 2 stop at 35 as you mention.

Yeh, I saw the Mud Country in a 40 at one of the Tec shows a couple years ago. Very nice, to bad they dont sell-m any more.

im running a set of dc fun country 44s on the rear of my rig and 42 in tsls on the front.the 44s have been sitting in the woods for many years and are dryrotted.im only using them till i can afford a new set of meats.i bought the dcs yrs ago because i thought they would be great for fishing on the beach which they were but they were terrible in the mud ,offroad and on the street in the rain.
