As the end of the quarter in ever approaching, so is my free time which means I may be able to start my diesel swap. I thought it would be useful(atleast for me) to put together a checklist for the swap, as they usually help out with a lot of things in life. Here goes nothing and maybe I'll edit the first post as you guys help me out with your suggestions for the list.

_Engine, transmission, tcase donor (DUH)
_Engine and Transmission mounts
_Change Drive Shaft Lengths
_New Exhaust
_Engine and transmission Wiring (hopefully mechanical engine so its easier)
_New Radiator and mounts?
_Intercooler mounting?
_tcase and transmission linkage
_fuel lines
_beer
_prayers

please help me add on because I know there is much more but I am at school and cant think right now

Thanks!

EDIT:
Help from BudoJeepr
_Oil cooler
_Trans Cooler
_HYDROBOOST
_Second Battery
_Fan
Help from 4btswaps
* Turbo-to-intercooler tubing
* Intercooler-to-intake tubing
* Silicone connectors and hose clamps
* Air cleaner (look at getting the WIX)
* Air inlet vacuum sensor
* Turbo blanket
* Exhaust manifold insulating wrap
* 20 pounds of mig weldiing wire
* Electric radiator fan
* Tachometer
* Vacuum pump (for the brakes)
* Vacuum gauge
* Boost gauge
-Another fuse box to run your fan, fuel shut off, etc. thru. Trust me, trying to pull it all from factory wiring harness can be alot more of a head ache then putting in another box.
-Don't forget about the filler neck plate. I didn't even think about till my swap was done and went to fill up.

Add in oil and transmission cooler? Think about hydroboost? Second battery? Fan? Steering shaft mods may be necessary. Umm can't think of anything more right now...you have a good list going!

Sounds like it would be easier to buy an 80s diesel pickup, weld a top on and add some seats! Good luck with the project.
