I found an 88 grand at the local pickapart, it was a superlift kit- springs up front, blocks in the rear. When I put the blocks on I found that the blocks stick out about .500"-.750" past the front and back of the perches. Since they're hollow, the the blocks aren't really sitting on the front and rear of the perches. is this ok?

Blocks are slightly larger than the spring perches they sit on... if that's what you mean.. they're ok...

That's ironic, of all peaple that might reply, it's the Head block-hater himself! (which is a better title than hated block-head :D )
Thanks for the reply.

Just as a side note, I've seen several of the aluminum alloy blocks crack. If you're going to take the front springs from the junkward, it may be worth the extra $30 to get a good steel set. Typically, the Skyjacker blocks are steel (or iron, whatever, not aluminum), but without knowing the history, you may want to check.

Yeah, they're steel, a mag sticks to them. I had heard that alum. was out of the question for a rig our size.
