Finally, today I drove the jeep down my street. For the past 6 months I had the tranny, transfer case, and driveshafts pulled. I've done a ton of other work, but I just had to wait awhile to put the drivetrain back in. I finished putting it all in today, filled up my rebuilt tranny and rebuilt transfer case, fired it up, and drove down my street! With no passenger wheel tub haha. But it works! No muffler so its really loud, but it is sweet! Drove over my old tranny case because it was cracked and had caused me much grief. Even got my girlfriend in it, sitting on milk crates! I'm almost ready to put it on the road, just another few weeks of welding the passenger side back in, herculining the interior, and putting the drivers door on. Jeep's rule

I'm so jeleous of you. I've had my wag for 4 years now and still don't have it drivable. Lost a lot of time with a divorce and remarriage and now it's at my parents house 3 hours from where I live because I don't have room for it now. Before I stopped working on it this time I was almost through rewiring it. I've alreade gone throught the motor Buick 350) tranny, transfer case and axles, only need to finish the wiring, brakes and shocks and she's drivable again (was running and driving when I bought her but had lots of "issues"). I hope to get her to my house after Christmas (all I want for Christmas is a set of 33's for it) and finish up the work.
Good luck, have fun!
