New to the forums.....electrical help please!

Hey guys I have been registered on this site and have been browsing it for several months. This is one of my first questions! I replaced the flasher for my turn signals yesterday and the signal still will not blink. Any suggestions? Thanks!

A belated welcome!!

Please don't be insulted if I ask a question first. Are you sure that it is the flasher for the turn indicators and not the one for the emergency flashers??

Do the lights come on when you use the turn indicators but they just don't flash or nothing comes on? If nothing comes on then check the fuse.

Come back with more info and we can go from there..

Hey reddog thanks for the reply. The lights come on but don't flash. Did I replace the correct flasher? It is at the top left hand side of the fuse box.

On my 87 there are 2 flashers at the top of the fuse block - the one on the right is for the turn indicators. Switch them and see what happens...

HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM W/ 86GW...ALL TURN SIGNALS WORKED EXCEPT L FRONT...WOULD LIGHT UP BUT NOT BLINK...ENDED UP BEING A BAD GROUND CONNECTION
