Just got back last night from a trip to Crestview, FL and back and only spotted 2 FSJ's. One was a white 80's GW next to a building in Ft. Walton Beach and appears to not have been driven in quite some time. The other was in TN at exit 6 off of I-65 at the Phillips gas station/truck stop. That one was a very clean looking Baltic Blue late 80's GW and was parked between the pumps and door.

I was a little saddenend by the lack of sightings in 2K miles. Then again there may have been more I didn't see as I was towing a large and not so tow friendly pop-up camper with my less than towing equipped GC since the GW isn't done yet. So my eyes and focus were on the light weight wiggle prone combo.

You missed me!! Some guy did wave at me yesterday in a 4 runner or something... I've seen that one in FWB on my way to get my CCW. looks like it hasn't moved in a minute.

That white one I have been trying to buy for a few years. That shop wont come off of it at all. I live 3 miles from that shop in Fort Walton Beach. I would have shown you my J10 haha.:D

I am always on the lookout for them and rarely ever see any here in the rust belt...one of the reasons I like them so much:thumbsup:

I did that trip last month (Dearborn to Naples) and not a single fsj, I did see a couple of swamp buggy's on trailers around Fort Myers.........Driving down, around town and back I put on 3230 miles and spent $370.00 on gas, I can guess what it would have cost in a fsj:eek: Maybe the fsj's were out playing when you drove past.

Unfortunately I didn't spend much time doing anything for myself like a real vacation. It was for my aunts wedding and 4 of the 6 days I was gone were spent driving with an almost 2 year old in back seat bored out of his mind and cutting his last four molars. :(

Most FSJ's can't run at highway speed for too long without overheating, losing a rear axle bearing, running out of gas or vaporlocking. That's why you didn't see any on the interstates!

I live in Wyoming and work on a crew of 13 guys. 3 of own wagoneers, a 78, a 81, and I am working on my 82. There is quite a few of them running around the town I live in too. Dont see alot of J trucks thought, that is what I was looking for.
