I sat in my truck during a rain storm last night (having a little quality time with the truck) and wanted to find where the cab leaks water. I saw a few drips coming in through the vent.
Any ideas on how to stop this leak besides putting it in the garage?

WHICH vent? if it is the fresh air vents under the dash, most likely they are filled with leaves and junk. you have to remove the vent cover and start pulling out all that wet stuff.

If it is the wing vent, new seals? Not sure.

Got the same problem here and tried to look for some blocked passages, etc.
I think what happens is the vent in front of the windshied goes two those to vents in front of the doors for fresh air. I would image that leafs and stuff get caught in the windshield vent and clog the drains so it goes out to the vents. But I don't know where the drains are or if they are even there. This is why i did the bedliner cause I haven't been able to stop this leaking prob, interested to know how to fix it...

There is a thread on here about how to clean them, I did mine about 3 months ago and was simply amazed at what came out of there. Passenger side is a no brainer but had to remove the ebrake setup to do the drivers side vent area. I filled up a good sized shop vac about 1/2 full and had two large piles of debris on the ground before I was done.

After I cleaned them out I put window screen under the cowl to keep this from happening again! This was per Michael Baxter's write up here:

I like the other one tho it has pics, both have awesome info...
