Does any body know of a source for drilled and sloted rotors for FSJ's? I think the would help keep rotors cooler while stopping the 36" swampers.

I tried Brembo (http://www.brembo.com) and they list a rotor kit for 1990-1992? Waggy 4WD's. http://www.virtue.nu/gmkiller1/brembodrilled.jpg but it is just a front rotor kit for 189.00
Still looking..

Concerned about cooling the brakes? I think you just need to make more water-crossings... smile.gif
For 36" tires, you may consider moving up to J-20 or another 3/4-1ton's front-brakes. This would require a move to 8-lug hubs and axles, but that wouldn't be so bad, would it?

hey those are some killer rotors. I know JcWhitney sells drill and sloted rotors for older ford and chevy 4x4s. I have a buddy that swears they (jcWhitney) carry them for his 82 cherokee. I personaly haven't seen them listed. I don't think that my rotors are get to hot. No warpped rotors yet. I do like the more water crossings idea. I eventually want disc brakes on the rear axle as well but I'm save up the cash for that. Maybe I'll put this money for new rotors for the front to buy the set for the rear. smile.gif

I've got **** neer everything I need, 'cept the intercooler  . Not going to worry about until I get back from overseas in Feb though. I may just say the hell with it and drop $600-800 on a speraco cooler and be done with it.

A speraco intercooler is well worth the money. What did you get your turbos off of? What do you figure your Hp and Torque will be? I still want to see some pics. That is one bad Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley idea for a 351. :D

This is the set-up I plan on running. http://www.sn95.com/projects/turbo/diagram3.jpg
The Turbos are Garrett T-03's off a 85-86 Ford T-bird Turbocoupe. I'm looking for close to 550-600 hp @ 5800-6000 rpm @ the crank with about 8 psi of boost.
The is a whole write-up about running a JYT (Junk yard Turbo) set-up here (http://www.sn95.com/projects/turbo/part1.htm) :D
