Seatbelt Buckle

I've never seen a post on this particular topic before and I have been here for quite some time. The driver's side seatbelt buckle on my '88 Grand Wagoneer no longer stays locked to the male portion on the seatbelt. The button seems to have lost its "spring". Can I just swap it out with on of the buckles in the backseat. If so, how do I get the buckle off the strap that attaches it to the floorboard.

To the best of my knowledge the buckle is sewn onto the strap at the factory, therefore, you need to make a junkyard run.

You will have to replace the whole seatbelt.
