So, I put a Rusty's 4" lift on my wagon last summer. Now, when I fill the gas tank then the driver's side is significantly lower that the passenger side.

I know the gas tank is on this side but come on. . . should a full tank really equal over an inche of lopsided sag?

Is this part of the "settling"? Any tips on fixing it? Other than eliminating the spare and moving the gas tank to the rear, which I would love to do but can't afford right now.

Any tips are appreciated.

If a full tank on the side of the vehicle makes it sag to one side, wouldnt a rear mounted tank make the whole rear sag???

Well, I suppose I could deal with that a little better. It would theoretically sag only half as much and it wouldn't be quite as obvious. As it is now, I look like I must weigh 300lbs driving down the road. (You know what it's like when a 400lbs person is driving a civic)

A buddy of mine who easily weighed 350 Lbs. sat in my moms chrystler lebaron convertable with electric seats and destroyed to base holding up the seat. From there after the seat tilted toward the door. It was very annoying.

Say a gallon of fuel weighs around 8lbs and you have 20 gallons of fuel. That's only 160lbs. IMO it shouldn't sag.

That's what i'm thinking. I would be suspicious that the metal spring-rate isn't proper but then when you consider that it holds up the rest of the truck when low on fuel then that doesn't make sense.

I understand that the springs will settle some after installation; so is it likely that the driver side rear spring is settling faster because of where the fuel tank is.

Anyone else experience this?
