I need a better left front fender for my 89 GW, Local jeep yard wants $150 for a rust free one. I see JC Whitney has one for 179.99. Anyone have any experience with these parts? I'm curious about their quality...would a used original be better than an aftermarket made who knows where?

They are pretty flimsy when it comes to gauge of metal used. Alos, when they shipped them to me (I ordered 2) they arrived all crumpled and bent and pretty much unusable. It really chapped my...you know.

Just in general. According to the body guy who worked on my banancuda, replacement metal always needs some tweaking, although the OE Manufacturers stuff is better. So, A good rust free part might actually be an easier fit, and of course will be the same gage.
