Is there a source for heater control cable for 70's j10. All I have found in bone yard have same problem as mine.

THey all like to break off the little plastic keeper by the heater, small zip ties work OK, or you can make a crimp a metal lug on there.

When you find one that isn't broken then take it apart at the adjuster and LUBE THE SNOT OUT OF IT! and it will give you many more years of service.
