I'm just a few days away from taking my Wag to Dale for pound and paint, and was wondering what she would look like in sanstone.

I've been thinking either sandstone or desert tan and then do the woodgrain with burl maple veneer.

so this is the best i could do with the color you mentioned. its a unique color to try and simulate.

i normally like burl wood. but depending on the color it ends up being, you might want a more maroonish wood color. something like a Brazilian cherry.(but not so maroon that it ends up pink)

this was one ps that i did for another member. its a bit more maroon, where your wood sample is a redish or yellowish.
:) either way, good luck.
