bad acceleration

jeep runs good when u get up to a constant speed, but wont accelerate without hacking sputtering and all that, also it looks like im putting on a strobe light show with my headlights they flicker like a pink floyd laser light show, whats the problem here?

Sounds like you're not getting enough voltage. Maybe check alternator to make sure you're putting out 60 amps or so. (at least that's what my '77 alt. puts out).
If alternator's OK, make sure you're battery's good and check you're electrical connections and grounds - everything should be clean and tight.
