So im building a '72 wagoneer and im pretty close to finishing it but somebody hacked on the frame to mount a propane tank under it before i got it. i plan on driving it for a while how it is but im trying to get a hold of another frame. does anybody know what frames will work? Grand Wagoneers?

The frame stayed the same through out the waggie run. the suspension mounting, and some of the cross members changed, but the size and shape of the frame stayed the same.

I'll be parting out this 87 GW I have soon once I get everything off I am using for my J-truck. This frame should be clean and undamaged.
A guy on the old FSJ list dropped a 64 body on an 82? chassis and the only issue Al had was connecting the steering colomn shaft to the steering box. Had a machine shop design/build a custom joint.

If you swap in a 76 or later, you get the benefit of having the most choices for leaf spring swap.
