so what are you soa guys doing for the lower shock mount? when I bolt up the shock it wont clear the spring plate to bolt into the lower hole. even if I grind the plate I believe it will still hit.

I don't have a sway bar. That said, I'd take a saw or torch and trim that puppy to clear.

I used a torch and trimmed that plate to fit as I wanted to still have the sway bar. If you need pics, I'll see if I can get some.

Same as Casey, I put the spring plate on a band saw and cut the side piece off. On day, I might deside to run my sway bar, so I kept the pieces and I can eld them on after I swap and flip them around. However, I have been running about a month or so without my sway bar and once you get used to it, it isn't a big deal at all.

Haven't some people said to flip the shocks?

remove the steel insert from the shock and use the sway bar stud.

that would work but shocks would have to be stock length, which seems kinda pointless. I think Im going to grind alittle on the spring plate then move the lower mount out a bit

i torched the plate and it looked like i had plenty of room but it still dented the shock. once i turned the shocks upside down problem solved.

i had to flip mine they work pretty good now but i did dent two new shocks pretty bad
Might be a dumb question, does flipping a shock shorten its life any or hurt its performance?

some shocks cannot be flipped without shortening the life or damaging the unit.

Toss the sway bar and use the sway bar mount on your spring plate to mount your shock to.;)
