This is getting annoying. I have developed a vac leak somewhere in my selec-trac system. I only notice a leak while inside the cab, and in 2wd and at the switch. I have tested the switch and actually replaced it with another I know is good. If I pull the green vac line out of the rubber boot that attached to the switch and put my finger over it, No leak. Hence good switch. If i re attach the green vac line, then I get the leak. It shifts into and out of 4wd just fine, but after its out of 4wd after the secont "hiss" it will start as a steady leak, depending on if you are accelerating or not.
If there is a leak in the line somewhere else further "down stream" would you hear it at the switch? I first thought it was the connection of the hard vac lines and the rubber boot, but I have ruled that out.
I'm tired of listening to it suck. no pun intended.
