No offense to the Carolina FSJ Forum, but I thought I might get some more feedback over here first...

Thinking about rebuilding a donor 360 over the next 6+ months, while I still have a pretty decent but underpowered engine in the GW. I also figure I can spread out the need for funds this way, so the wife doesn't have an idea of the total cost;)...

Anyone in the Southeast NC or Northeast SC areas know about where I can get reputable machining done without breaking the bank?

dpends on what you want. you cant get parts for the 360 like you can s sbc but there is a shop in castle hayne that has done a bunch of amc 360 from what i heard. took mine there and have no complaints thus far. but i will say that with what i did it was not cheap.
