no start

Changed my transmission everything intalled changed the engine oil went to start it nothing...For giggles i jumped the post on the starter and it turned over. After that for somereason it cranks now when i turn the key but i have no spark. Ran a test light to the tfi connector on my coil and i have power going in both sides but nothing coming out. Everything was good when i parked it aside from a bad transmission. I also checked my fuses

any thoughts. I have no idea how much power is makeing it into the coil just that there is power going into it. I can't find any broken wires either

Linkage maybe sloppy. Try pulling up on the shifter holding it in Park when you start it.

you didn't leave the key in they ON Position for a while right ?

no i did not. i got it get fire and run yesturday shut it down and it wont restart.

it would appear that it is fixed for now...not sure how though :banghead:
