Before yall say anything, I know pics would've been nice but I didnt have a camera handy. So while out on a service call today I came across an M175 and had an opportunity to stop and talk to the owner a bit about it. It's a 67 with just 2100 original miles on it, he has a new top for it, spare engine and trans, and even a title. Of course it has some of the usual rust on it. When asked about a price, he said he would take $2500 for it. Though it might be hard to get a decent opinion on it, I'm curious if it a reasonable price or is he blowing smoke.

I figure it depends on what he may have "worked on" previously (quality of work, etc), if it runs, drives, and how well.. and if it's a M175, or M715 :D
If I had the $, I'd buy one.

So where did you say it was? ;) Most of the M715's I've seen start at around $2,500 so if it's in good shape and comes with all the extras it should be well worth the $$$$. Where exactly did you say it was again. LOL

As far as the 175 thing goes I find myself constantly being dyslexic when it comes to those numbers for some reason, I meant M715. Its in Fierson, LA on Hwy 175. I would be excited to add it to my collection, but currently my biggest goal is saving for the wife's new car.

I have'nt seen an M175 I don't think. If you can get a running M715 for 2500 jump on it.

There's always going to be a New Car for the wife. However, good deals on Jeeps only come around occassionally, Get your priorities straight.

Me likey! Nothing like some good 'ole encouragement, though today I have encountered a potential set back to having thoughts of getting anything right now. About thirty minutes ago I came to discover that my DD either needs a rebuild on its current t-case or to just swap in another one. :(
