The long-term '68 Wagoneer project is moving right along... for the most part, but at every turn there's something new to figure out, or wonder "why did they do it like that?" I'm really enjoying doing it though and learning a lot as I go, but time and money constraints have stretched the project's duration over two years; much longer than I thought it would take going into it.

My oldest son started working on the project, along with a couple of his friends, in auto shop and took care of all the dismantling. My buddy Tom and I did the body swap, converted to discs in front, and used the best of the parts from both vehicles whenever we could.

Now the project is getting close to being done and we're trying to figure out wiring. I have an idea that when it was parked (about 1977) there were electrical issues and I've got a couple things to post regarding wiring in the tech forum. It seems that things were monkeyed with a lot way back when, and between that and teenagers not remembering what they did, we've run across some puzzling things. With any luck though, and probably a fair amount of help from the good folks on this board, another FSJ should be back on the road within a couple months.:D
