Nowhere close to you... but take pics!!!!

Good luck!!

Try using a high lift jack (blocking the other tires first) and stacking up stuff underneath the tires to get traction....and back down.

Done this a few times for friends.... be careful!!!!!

Jack it up and stack solid stuff under the tires opposite the way you want to go. If you want to keep going forward over it, then stack under the rear wheels, and the opposite if you want to back down. Just be careful, because tires can spit those big rocks or logs out, and when you finally get it to break over the hill, it will go fast.

Good luck!!! Oh yeah, and take pics!!! :D

Shoot, wish I could help but I doubt that "The Southern Belle" could even survive a run to the 'News. Just got her out of a big stump hole in South Carolina with two days of jack work (between which I 'bout froze my Colorado arse off) and she ain't seemed real antsy about hitting the outback or highway since.

Last vehicle to pull me out was a '64 Fairlane. What I'm saying is that maybe you should broaden your search for rescuers a bit. Good luck, and keep us posted.

ok two days later and 4 trucks later i got my Wag out. WHAT A MESS ! all the othere trucks and jeeps got stuck as well. You wanna know what pulled me out ? there was two guys about a half a mile away clearing out trees and one pulled me out with a excavator . battle scars ? yes 3 flats, a tree truck gash across the whole drivers side, engine knocks, smashed right rear tail light and body damage from the excavator, oh and somethign grinds when i put it in 4lo. Great trail trip. Oh and i got some eally good pictures can't wait to develop them .

You gotta post pics!

This one sounds like a great stuck. An excavator had to pull you out? ummm...why did you go down this trail without any recovery gear?

www.fullsizejeeps.com (http://www.fullsizejeeps.com) will host them for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great guys!

Sorry for your struggle. Now go build your jeep so it won't happen again.

Good luck.

Buy Chevy brake lines. $20 a piece. Search for exact models, I believe late 70's 4wd ones are about 9" longer. If I ever get around to replacing mine, I'll post the napa part number I use. I thought Rusty sent out extenders?

the only extender i got was this z bracket for the back. That's it ...

I guess it is your turn to call rusty, cause I believe all the 4" kits are supposed to come with brake line extenders. At least that is what the website says.

Or you could go get the chevy lines locally and be done with it.

Good luck.

And if you are ever camping and wheelin' (and drinkin) in Georgia, let us know. I could use a good inebriated weekend in the woods.
