Probably not the longest and certainly not the tallest, but should be able to carry the heaviest load (6BT/NV4500/NP202.5/D60/D70/D70). Work in progress...

Well, just one, but there is always a margin of error in every poll.

Actually, it had just snapped 3 of the 3/4 ton axle shafts and had to be flat bedded home. They took a wag with 38's I think, and bolted of the 47's for the "livin' with 47's" article for the mag.

i had talked to them about my jeep 2 or 3 years ago... and they told me that wasn't the direction that their magazine was going... they were more into the offroad racing and quads stuff... amazing how things can turn around sometimes huh???

Ehh, you don't want your rig in Off-road magazine anyway. From what I've seen, its all show trucks and the only dirt they see is during the photo shoots. Look at the article topics "Livin with 47s" How many true wheelers (other than mud boggers) actually run 47's?

I worked for a landscaping rock business for a couple of years and was responsible for the up keep and repair of 6 of these. I truely miss that job.
These things are Hella stout and was AMAZED at the beating they could handle... Wish I had one.

Well this is what the new owners of my old jeep did to it! Its HUGE! I went and looked at it a few days ago and they must be feeding it steroids lol.

They lifted it 9 MORE inches than it was when I had it and I had it pretty tall. Its on a set of 49" millitary tires on 20" m/t wheels.

I'm glad it went to people who continued to build it rather than part it out!

Mine only has 40's but I know I have seen a j-truck on 53" xzl's. I think cappa's j truck on rockwells and 49's must be one of the biggest.

There are a few videos of it on youtube. Here's one:

They are going to go with the 4.56s for now cause its what they have. I don't think it will be all THAT bad, I ran it with 3.73s and 38.5s and it was still low geared. The 700r4 and 208 make it pretty low. With a 700r4 and 208 and 4.56 is lower geared in low range than you would have with a th350/205 with 7.17 gears.....
