Just got my waggy back from the paint shop... I'll post some pics in the next few days. Came out too nice to go scratch it up... right away at least:)
But it came back with a very loud throwout, my guess is from just sitting there for so long. I just put in the T18 this winter so the bearing is fairly new. Is it possible to grease it up without dropping the tranny?

Seems to me you will have to pull it to get to the tranny snout.
I had a terrible noise in my little GMC and it was the pilot bushing gone dry. The input shaft had worn it down far enough to allow the input shaft to chatter inside the pilot bushing. I had to pull it all apart and replace the pilot bushing. I thought it was the throw-out bearing because everytime I would push the clutch in, the noise would start.

Heimeken, had the same issue with mine. Had to slide back the tranny and replace the bearing. Leave the transfer case attached and build the "sling thing" and slide it back and pull the bearing off. Check the nipples on your fork!! That is what caused mine to fail! The nipple was worn down and the fork slipped forward on the bearing. So the bearing was at an angle causing it to scream and eventually break.
