j-10 wheelbase question?

Anybody know if '77 j-10 fleetside has same wheelbase as '80 j-10 stepside?

brin,
unless the 77 j10 is a long wheel base, it should be the same wheelbase. i believe the changes in wheelbase came in 1973 or 1974.

if both are short beds they are exactly the same.

All the stepsides were 119" wheelbase. A fleetside could be either 119" and 131".

Thanks! Got a friend with a stepside that the rear spring hangers rusted off. The bed is now a primary component of the rear suspension. I'll have pics on my site later this week. He's got a 360 D*dge hooked up to a t-18/Dana 20 combo he wants to transfer to another frame and we're looking to avoid driveshaft fabrication.
