Rear tailgate window problem

Here's the deal I have problems getting the rear window to stay in it's place after several times with this problem i got rid off the locking mechanism and replaced with bolts this was a good idea at the beggining after a while again the problem reappeared and now need a more radical way of getting rid of this problem any recomendations on what to do to keep in place the back tailgate window in place?

forgot to add that it's for a '78 cherokee widetracks.

Open the tailgate up on the inside you will find a hatch with plenty screws in it.
You can actually see the brackets that are holding up the window.
Should give you a lot more info
