noise when driver's window rolled down

i am gonna check out a noise when the window goes down. it sounds like metal hitting the window. before i take the cover off i thought i might try and get a heads up on what this is. the window goes up and down fine. but sometimes gets stuck when i put it all the way down

Maybe a busted tooth or two on your flex track?

Maybe the felt in the vertical track is gone. That happened to two of mine.
