On my wag I have an oil leak on the front of the motor that I dont know where it could be coming from. I seem to be collecting oil on the top of the timing cover but I can't see where it's coming from. Where could it be coming from?

It might be coming from the front rubber intake manifold seal. Clean off the area, blow dry with compressed air and start it up spotting leak(s) with good light. Watch out for fan. Good luck.

It could be the front of the intake manifold, the timing cover istself, or the front seal. Sometimes the fan will blow the oil around making it tough to find the source. Oil pooling on top of the front cover seems to be apretty common place for it to end up.

My Cherokee was leaking there because the rubber gasket under the manifold was old and hard and it was weeping oil out of that spot.

Also, Edelbrock intakes seem to have a little larger gap between block and intake. From my experience (esp in the corners), considerably more RTV was used, and that meant cure time was increased.....not that I learned that the hard way.....

Just a thought.....

That is if you have an Edelbrock intake.....

I have to agree...intake manifold. Clean it real good and smear lots of cheese whiz in that crack for a quick fix...those intake valley pan gaskets are kinda spendy (I think) I have re-used them though. Used some of that brush on brown permatex. Worked good.
