Duncan Rolls has created an exact replica of the first Jeep, the Bantam Reconnaissance Car, or BRC! He spent 3,500 hours and worked with archival data to make sure every detail was accurate. What an amazing accomplishment and what a joy to see the very... first Jeep being driven! Watch the video and thank Duncan for bringing this remarkable vehicle back to life! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S29J88KZ3g8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S29J88KZ3g8)

That's cool - I would have liked to hear more about building the restoration.
You'd think you could duplicate what the Bantam engineers did to make this vehicle - it was put together very quickly, and must have contained parts from lots of other vehicles.
