Evenin all :D

I was lucky enuff to track down a lovely 2 door a month ago, and now have managed to track down a cosmetically abused J20, very rare in the UK, first I have found for sale in over 4 yrs, so altho i couldnt really afford it, I had to break out some debt to get it.

Its got what appears to be a 4" body lift, and is running 38.5 monster mudders, its a left hooker (ones sold in the UK were coverted to RHD), 8 stud axles so the guess is that its an ex-US military truck, but who knows? Its bloody enormous, must stand at a good 9 ft tall. One of the first jobs will be to get it back to a more sensible height, just tall enuff for 35's is the plan.

Came with two 360's (not fitted), one of which has been chromed in every conceivable place, which is a bit mad when u see the state of the bodywork, on the plus side its been rubbed down to bare metal in most places so the paint job will be straightforward.

Loads of spares as well, and the double bonus is that I have already sold one of the 360's (rare ish over here) for about $100 dollars short of what I paid for the whole truck.

Hopefully the link will work, the new J20 is in the same album as my CJ & two 2 door FSJ's

All i need now is to convince a mate to sell me his CJ8 and the stable will be complete (famous last words!)

Congrats on the find. It looks like a good start from the pics.
And to make most of the money back right away is priceless...

Nice going! I find myself in the same situation and recently added a Grand Wagoneer to my collection of CJ7's, and J-20's. Welcome and good luck. Lots of guys here to help with parts and tech support.

Did you get it with a MOT certificate ??

no mate, no MOT, but TBH I dont think its too far off from an MOT once its brought back to a something like a more normal size

i just want a big truck, not some jerk off monster truck so normalising (is that a word?) is first on the list

its one of those trucks where someone without a clue has had a mad set of plans but got fed up about 1/4 of the way thru
