4wheel problem?

My 81 wagoneer has the 4wheel drive light coming on now. This has never happened before. Is there a problem? Help please!

I would think it is just a short in the wire.

Thanks 78Chief. I was getting a little worried as today was the first time I had a problem shifting into low. The imagination was getting the best of me. I will see if I can check that wire.
