Pros and cons...
I got advice that if you get a 4" lift you should have gotten the 6 inch lift. What needs to be change to make it happen?
In other words the hidden extras that may come up during the swap on a late model GW.

I think the biggest question is, what size tires do you plan on running? Especially on a NT.

I love my stock rims so...
I was going to run 31x10.5 R15 on a stock rim with a 4 inch
or 33x10.5 r15 on a stock rim also...

31's on a 4 in lift will fit just fine.

Also keep in mind that center of gravity can become an issue on NT SJ. A local member here has a BJ's 6" and 36's on his 91 and had a heavy roof rack. (notice I said had) After he rolled it on its side a few times, he ditched the weight up top. Mind you he uses his rig for wheeling purposes only.

Mine is for nothing extreme just camping, fishing, and tailgating.

Will family be riding it it after you lift it?
My wife absolutely hates the height of the 6" lift.
My 5yr old likes it though :)
