rear window problems...

ok i know this is typical, the rear window wont roll down...any ideas for a fix? thanks Brandon

Power window?? Doesn't work with either the key or the dash switch? Check the breaker, check the safety switch on the drivers side of the tailgate. You will have to pull the panel and reach in from the inside of the tailgate to do that (after you check to make sure the tailgate is closed all the way). It maybe stuck in the tracks due to the channel felt coming off or one of the rivets stopping it from coming down. Give us more info :D

I had a problem with my wiring, I would have to kick the heck out of the tailgate to get the wiring to vibrate enough to get a good enough connection to roll it up or down. I've heard a lot of people have had problems with the safety switch like Reddog said. I would disconnect the safety switch and just keep in mind not to let the window fall out when rolling up the window while the tailgate is down. To check the wiring you could trigger the switch and use a multimeter to check for voltage at the motor.
