I have a holly 2bbl that will fit with adaapter, but for the life of me cannot get the throttle cable to attach and work properly. Is there a bracket that summit sells or some way of making this work? My cable come out and goes down to a bracket that rotates a lever, which pulls a 8" linkage bar down pulling the old carter bbd valve. But the holly ball joint is in a different position. Thanks Fro any help?

Have you ever seen the bolt-on Ford kickdown levers that go on Carter and Edelbrock carbs? Well, you have to do something like that. Get a piece of "Aluminum" that is "about" 4"x4". It must be alum., not steel. Drill two holes (top & bottom) that line up with two holes on the throttle linkage of the carb. Then bolt it to the carb linkage. Check and gind the piece for clearance and to make sure the throttle has full movement. You'll probly be putting it one and taking it off alot. Then drill a series of holes along the linkage bar side of the piece. You will end up using one of these holes to attach a ball stud for your linkage bar. We also had to find an adjustable linkage bar. We used one that was off an old '60's Ford linkage setup. They are just threaded on one end to allow adjustability. This part is just trail and error. Try different holes until one works for you. After, grind down the piece to lighten it as much as you can without weakening it. Also make sure to use a good return spring. The extra weight may cause the throttle to stay open slightly, causing a high idle speed if you don't.
