Hey Guys...
I just purchased a set of Warn locking hubs, I am very trepidacious about the installation procedure. How difficult are they to install? I am fairly competent, but have never messed with anything related to tearing apart four wheel drive hubs. There are instructions included, as I'm sure you all are aware, but as this beast is my daily driver, I can't risk having alot of downtime. Do any of you guys have installation pictures or can you give me any idea of what I'm looking at as far as time and/or headaches? Thanks so much for any help you can offer.... smile.gif

I was exactly in the same place. I installed Warn Prem, while doing a front repack on wheel bearings. Instructions will be very good and I wandered what I was afraid of after I was done.
You will finish and never fear that again. Go for it, not a hard job at all.

be aware that if you leave the front hubs unlocked and switch into 4wd high, you will trash the viscous coupling in the transfer case, pronto. assuming you have the NP229 case.

I am aware of the results of an inadvertent 4-high engagement, so I have devised a cover for the vacuum switch. Thanks for the input guys.... ;)
