Just saw a thread about what to spray underneath, and reminded me about the inside of my wag. Plan to replace the carpets, but before that repair any flooring and paint with some rust preventing paint. And then some dynamat like product and then carpet.
So what does everyone recommend as floor paint?

I used Herculiner myself, my J10 cab used 1 quart ($48.00) I applied it with a brush.....dabbing it out. Looks good, seals GREAT........also used it prior on my inner wheelwells.......no more undercoating for me.;)

The smooth Durabak turned out real well in teh cab of my J10. No grit, a smooth finish.
I like the POR 15 paint it drys like iron and POR 15 came out with a compatible spray liner product like Durabak. I am going to give it a try. check their website.

Thanks for all the responses. I've heard POR finishes and makes it a little impossible to work with any bolts or anything you paint over. Are herculiner and durabak good for under the carpet or did you guys just apply it as the floor?

My body guy recommends eastwoods' rust encapsulator and rust converter and their chassis black extreme chassis black. He says its cheaper, easier, and better. He restores classics and has been doing it for years. Just for what its worth. I plan to use those products, plus durabak or hurculiner for the interior and the roof, paint on the body.

Depends on the amount of rust, if there isnt any rust inside Id just use the bedliner.

This weekend Im laying down Autobahn 1 -K Bed Liner that I picked up, It looks similar to Herculiner. First hit all bare metal spots with a self etching primer. My floors were bad, replaced 2 pans and surface rust throughout. Should have pics up soon.
