UGH! First of all.. I found out I have the 2.72 gears http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/mad.gif

Funny thing is it still takes off FASTER than my J-20 did! Go figure.

Anywho.. Ironroad.. there was this lever looking thing on the driver's side of the tailgate, and I can move it back and forth by hand.. but the glass right now is all the way down. I tried pulling up on the glass with the gate down... no go.

I wasn't sure what you meant about the "pull on the lever and have someone" thing... can you clarify?

Any ideas anyone? I'd really like to get this glass up so I can wash the thing.. she's got some gunk in the rain-rails and the body needs to be buffed out a little.

well it's a switch that goes bad all the time take the wires off and connect them togeather bypassing the switch on the side of the tail gate. check the tech section if that doesn't work there's some good articles there about tailgate windows
