So I've come across the CRT performance sight just recently and wanted to know if anyone here has had any experience with either their TFI Juicebox kit or their HEI distributors. They appear to be reasonably priced but wasn't sure what kind of quality they are and if the company stood behind its product.

I have no experience with the HEI conversion, but their "Juicebox" is just the "regular" TFI upgrade that folks have been doing for years on their AMC 360's and 401. Nothing "special" about it.

Price out the parts at your local parts store to see if you really save any $$ after shipping. I personally prefer spark plug wires that I can cut to fit and crimp myself. MSD Streetfire series has a nice inexpensive set of wires.

I bought one of their HEI distributors for my '65 Rambler 232 straight six about two years ago. So far so good. I did a lot of emailing back and forth with CRT about my concern with the issue of distributor gears getting chewed up by other HEI makers and a few other issues. They emailed back quickly with answers and a 100% money back garantee if the unit failed. That sold me so I bought it. It showed up a week later, I installed it, and been running it ever since. I would buy from them again.

Good to know, good service is always what i like to hear about. Been mostly leaning toward going with a performance TFI setup. But am considering the HEI just for simplicity of setup. And the CRT unit seems reasonably priced. And on a side note....RAMBLINFSJ hows west Texas treating you, I used to live down in Lamesa.

I am very pleased with CRT. I had heard their AMC V8 HEI's were on serious backorder but that was about six months ago. Email them and see if they have any in stock or how long the wait is going to be. West Texas is still the same. WINDY! This winter has been exceptionally wet and snowy. We've had 8 snowstorms so far. I can't wait until it drys up and the temp gets up around 90. I see you are in Tyler now. My boss lives there.
