I've an '84 grand waggy. :fsj:
I may look at a 1980 waggy getting parted out this weekend. Its a 360/727/:confused:
Normally, I'd have spare drive shafts and engine/tranny parts in the garage for quick swaps, but do I really need a 2nd drive train?
Oh, and the front axle is gone, I already asked, so I'm still got my vac D44.
but do I really need a 2nd drive train?
The better quesiton is: Who doesn't need a second drivetrain?

Personally, I now have 4 complete FSJ (well mostly complete) and only can keep one or two going at a time :)
(I hope I can get two pretty well sorted out this year and keep the parts and help budget to less than I paid for them)
I think you need a spare for one of each part and a backup for the spare, in case the spare is bad.

The transfer case is worth some shop space -- fairly fragile viscous coupling is muy espensivo. Last I heard there was no source for new tailgate window motors.
