Has anyone here ran MT Baja Belteds? I like the looks of them (remember the J-Truck in Tremors?), and hear that they perform very well in sand and loose soil, even mud (granted their not like swampers in the mud...). However, I also heard that all MT's tires wear out extremely fast.
I'm way too cheap to fork over money for tires that won't last a good while, no matter how great they perform!

someone on the board has them... I believe it is "Agent Orange" he said that they wear fairly fast.. but close to pretty much all MT tires... he talked about them on the board here is the link to it http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=006453
but I think he has just the Baja's but maybe that will help...

My comments weren't from experience, just what I have heard. I haven't had the Baja HPs long enough to tell about tread wear. Sycho, I would buy tires based on what the use will be. If it's strictly off-road, then Super Swamper is the way to go, especially on the East coast. If you are going to put a lot of highway miles, then I would go with BFG MT. But everyone has their own opinion so you'll get lots of different views on this one. I do like the way the Mickeys sidewall looks, but it is a sand tire.
