Old instrument panel measurement

I would like to know the dimensions of the IP opening on the old style (Gladiator?) dash. The measurement needs to be inside edge to inside edge, top to bottom and left/right. (height/width)

I've got a dash sitting here, without a IP.

Looks like the top/bottom dimension is 4" and 9.25" wide. This is the size of the IP, there is a flair at the back edge appx 3/16" that reduces the opening by that on all 4 sides. But if you were to cut a piece of cardboard 4 x 9.25", you could set it flush into the opening, up to the flair.
