Did the leaf springs change from 1981-1991? Have a set of 1990 springs in good shape, want to put them on my 81.

I was just looking at the parts book the other day figuring out what to do on
my 88. From what I can tell Jeep offered about 4 to 6 different spring rates in any
given year. The differances were depending on options, the parts book did not
list the actuall spring rate, but a little discription of its useage.
From memory
1) 258 w/o air got one
2) Soft ride option (??)
3) 360
4) heavy duty
5) heavy duty with/plow or winch (Same number as J20 Heavy duty)
Similar data was also for rears.
For the years 80->87 some numbers were used in all those years so I
would be lead to the conclusion that all were dimentionly the same, except
you may need different U bolts due the the diffent spring pack height.
