Grand Cherokee Diesel

Does anyone know about or tried to swap in a 3.0l diesel from a Grand Cherokee into an FSJ? I would think one would need to do a complete motor/trans/tcase swap to keep the computer headaches to a minumum.

I have seen the 2.8l out of a Liberty go into a TJ & an XJ, so that naturally leads one to think about the 3.0l.

Sure would be high on the cool factor list.

If it's the the same V6 MB dsl as in the Sprinter vans it should be a good swap but what's it gonna cost. Only one I've seen for sale was for $12k at a boneyard from a totalled/rolled GC. too rich for my thin old blood.
