TFI Question

Want to do a TFI upgrade to my '76 J10. I have read the tech section but have a question - It says in order to do this upgrade I must run a Motorcraft Distributor since mine is pre '78. Is there a direct drop-in dizzy from a later model FSJ that works or do I need to find one and modify it? If so, what mods need to be done to the dizzy aside from what is mentioned in the tect library?

i am fairly confident in saying just about any late model fsj dizzy will work from a V8. if you are mentioning using the different weights and springs for the dizzy i think a quite a few people opted not to go that far. i think there was an earlier thread about this. good luck
