Is there a Kaiser Jeep paint code list anywhere? I have found a lot of sites with paint matching, but not the paint code numbers.

Let me know what color your looking for. I have access to all Jeep paint code numbers, and mix formulas for DuPont, Nason, Centari, and Imron paints.

Sorry for the hijack.... code 222 "imperial blue". Can you get the prescription so I can walk to benjamin-moore to have them mix the paint to match the Jeep?

Thanks

Under 62-71 Kaiser paint: code 222 is Siera Blue.
Bem -Moore didn't make factory paint for Kaiser in those yesrs but they may be able to cross ref a number from those that did.
Acme:
laq 30-5005
En 22-5005

Ditzler:
Laq DAL 12077
En DQE 12077

Dupont:
Laq 246 96581
En 93 96581

Rinshed Mason:
Laq 63W22

Its 229 (I believe, it might have been 228 as I am working from memory and not where the Wagoneer is right this moment)

In that PPG sheet it is "empire blue" but they list a different code on this site.

Another thread hijack question! On the '85 waggy, have paint code 3A - Almond Beige according to paintscratch.com. Can one buy that at a local auto parts store? All I can find are post '99 color charts, and colors. Thanks, dave.

After 90ish or so you will not find rattle can, but only touch up pen.

You will need to go to a specialty paint shop, or on line, both they can make the paint either in a rattle can of a tin. For little bruises, the gizmo with the separate pressure can and the little bottle with your paint is working well.

I know this is a pretty old thread, but I'm curious and couldn't see making a new one. I have a '69 Kaiser Wagoneer Custom and my paint code is 365. From what i've seen they didn't have that code in any year. It's painted white, but that should be 366 I think. Anyone know for sure?

365/366 isn't listed in the PM as a factory color in 62-71 Other whites are but not those codes.
384 and 395 Glacier white, 179 Plantation white, 224 White Cap, and 242 Champagne white which is part of tutone paint packages 480/81/83/84/86/87 and 488.

Hence the reason I'm curious. If I wasn't 10 hours away from my Jeep I'd take a picture to show, but it's paint code is definitely 365. As far as I can tell it has the original paint, but the code seems to be not real I guess.

it could have being a special paint they mixed up for the original buyer of the truck. I know alot of the vehical makers did do special stuff for certain prices.

Maybe, but how special can white really get? It is a 1414C, so it has some options over the base model I guess.

Well white can get pretty darn special. Just like theres atleast 30 diff shades of black.

If the Jeep received a 'special' paint option, then the code used was "999".
"To obtain information on special paint, contact your Regional Parts and Service Manager and provide the vehicle serial number".

:D ...I wonder if anybody is still manning that position.

The tech library (facts and figures?) could be edited with the paint codes, it would be helpful

If it's of any value to anyone, I have the Intermix chart from Jeep Corporation (this is not from a paint jobber ie Dupont) for the years '71 and prior and for '72 and also '73.
These are listed on pages Ge 15 thru Ge 18 inclusive. The codes include the formulas for both Lacquer and Enamel.

They show the 4 paint manufactureres used by Jeep Corp. in North America.
