Don't know if any of you might be interested in this or not but I got it in my e-mail and thought I would pass it along. I have my vehicles registered in my profile on RockAuto and they sent me a message saying that had 'wholesale closeouts' that were for my 90 Jeep Wagoneer. Some decent stuff on there if anybody needs it.

No... I have nothing to do with Rock Auto. Just trying to help people save money. :)

Yup just ordered some HD ball joints from there on closeout for $10 each, regularly $40. Awesome deals!

I use them as well, you can also google rockauto discount code and use code provided for another 5-10% off.

Thanks for the link! Just ordered all new balljoints (some jerk snatched up the HD ones before I could. ;) for about 60 bucks with shipping. Can't beat that at the parts store.

almost everything I buy comes form Rock, they can have hard to find stuff and usually I can't get it any cheaper locally even figuring shipping

even started using Rock for work trucks, good tip on registering my vehicles though

Whats been going on with NAPA lately?
Out this way they think their parts are gold plated lately and when I buy the same part twice, three times in a months....the price is different every time......

No kidding. My mechanic is a NAPA certified shop, so that's nice and all... but I'd probably never walk into a local NAPA for parts myself. Almost always somewhere to find it cheaper, whereas in AZ the NAPA was great for running good sales and keeping good techs on hand. I like the way they stand behind their parts though.

This Rockauto tip comes at a -great- time. Usually I'm dirt poor but this is the time of year when I can afford to do some maintenance. Savings like this just means I can stretch the budget a hair more.
