Hi again, joined about 9 months ago as I finally found a 2 door 'project' in the UK (England) but shamefully after picking over it, stripping it and kicking it I decided that all I was gonna get out of it was a parts sale and scrap value (and having no floor whatsover due to rust kinda affected the scrap value). That poor old girl is my avatar.

Anyway, we have a fairly small jeep community in the UK, and an even smaller FSJ community (3 of us at the last count :D ), but I have had feelers out for a long time now trying to track down a barn find etc, so was made up to get a phone call a few weeks ago to go and have a look at one. Amazingly turns out to be pretty mint (I have only ever seen rust buckets over here), and bargain price, and also had to do 2 trips with the rear seats out just to shift the spares it came with, so now have myself this:

:banghead: man alive, just spent 30 mins resizin and ruinin the quality of the pic to fit in with the sites sizing options, and still no good, someone wanna give me a steer on how to do this?

Let me know and I will post it up  its a 2 door 79 narrow track with a 360, TBH I really wanted a wide track so that will be the first change, its probably an indication of how badly the bodies rust over here as the widetrack axles are fairly accessible. Annoyingly I had a pair myself pre-xmas as I was toying with the idea of sticking them on my CJ but then money got tight before xmas (4 boys) so I sold them.

Thats about it, good to be back, much easier to get invovled when u actually have a FSJ.

Cheers
Ade

Welcome back to the land of empty pockets and unfinished projects....

Sounds like you found a sweet ride. Cant wait to see pics. Your best bet is to get a Photobucket account and link your pics into your thread. This link will explain it for you...

Welcome from Central California! When all else fails, Photobucket. With four boys I guess you need the rear seat, but I pulled mine out and don't miss it.

Cheers fellas, ya right bout the seats & 4 boys, I just finished scavenging scrap motors to find a decent rear bench seat to mod into a front bench seat for my 401 CJ7 so I can fit them all in, hopefully that will be sorted before the England summer turns up for its 3 week visit

anyway, here is the link to the FSJ's, im kinda hopin u wont have any trouble workin out which one got scrapped and which one is my new truck:

I want pics of you out there beating up on Range Rovers and Land Rovers. My cousin drooled for years over the Defender 90, and when he finally got one, it stays broken 75% of the time. It can't go half the places my J10 can.

Very nice looking NT Chero indeed.
I wouldn't make it into a WT, that rig looks just fine the way it is.
