I am finishing up the rebuild on a newly acquired 2150. Everything is set except for the choke. I'm at a loss on this one. Here's my question: With the carb not on an engine, should the choke close when I pull the throttle back all the way? As it is now when I pull back on the throttle the choke doesn't move and the fast idle doesn't set. Am I missing something here. I've read the instructions from the tech library as well as those in the rebuild kit and haynes manual, still clueless. If it's not working like it should now I don't see how it could when I put it on the engine.

Jerry...just wanted to let you know I feel your pain.....that 2150 choke is the most insane thing I have ever tried to adjust...I read all instructions a million times, the TSM a billion times and STILL did not understand the logic behind the darn thing!!!.......so I went to EFI....
Good Luck!

I'm still wondering about this. If anyone knows the answer don't be shy.
