I searched and tried to find info but to no avail...
Do I NEED (require) spacers to go under high steer arms for waggy d44 front? (from a 1977 NT waggy) or will standard 1in thick high steer arms work out for me.
Is this All I need to high steer my Waggy? (knuckles are flat top, I can mill/drill/tap them myself) I can use my normal steering rod setup with new tire rods of course?
Thanks...i'm trying to be really cheap (90 bucks on ebay for corrected angle arms and 42 bucks on PartsMike.com for the hardware)
Thanks in advance, like always (and thanks so much for the tips and advice)
Nathan.

I am doing the same sort of thing. I am going with a partsmike arm that doesn't need a spacer. I am not sure how thick it is, but I believe it is 1 inch thick. Partsmike also sells an extended TRE sleeve that you can use in place of the standard TRE sleeve. This will give you the extra length to go from the pitman arm to the high steer arm. Right now, I wil have a cross over steering for less than $200.

My worry is that the high steer arms, withOut spacers under it will still hit 4in lift springs SPOA...thats really what I need to know is if standard 1in thick High Steer Arms will clear everything without spacers.
I hope someone knows for sure, I hate trial and error when I'm trying to get on the trail asap ;)
Thanks.
Nathan.
P.S. 108 shipped on ebay for high steer arms with single tie rod holes and 42 + shipping hardware kit from parts mike keeps its under 160 total for me. (I'll machine my knuckles myself) if I don't need spacers....I hope I don't need the spacers ;) I intend on using my factory drag link (thing with tie rods at each end that connects the knuckles together to steer them left and right) I'm Hoping i can keep those parts stock.

I had to use them with stock springs. PMP arms and spacers. They also did the milling. I sent them the knuckles bare in a flat rate box from the USPS. PMP sent them back the same way.
2" springs here. I needed a 3/16" thick spacer.
Your results will probably be different with cross-over, I went full high steering, my issue was the TRE jam nuts making contact with the spring on the pass side.

The search function on this forum SUCKS. The best way to find old threads and information from this site is by using Google. Say I wanted to know about high steer on IFSJA..in the Google search box type "High Steer site:IFSJA.org" ....without the " " Hope that helps, I've noticed in all of your threads you mention not being able to find anything. Now you can search efficiently! ;)

Good thinking...I was aware of googles feature, never thought to apply it to this site.

I'll be using 4in lift springs and SPOA with 3/4 heims instead of TRE's...i hope nothing hits...
Thanks for all the info guys.
